Valerna is an electro house duo consisting of Brett Sorrentino and RJ Buchanan, childhood friends from New Hampshire. Between 2008 and 2013, they were known for their high-energy productions and innovative remixes that garnered attention in the EDM world. The group was signed to well-respected labels such as Plasmapool, Burn the Fire, Dim Mak, and Mähtrasher, with releases that made waves on the global electro house scene.

Their sound is a blend of raw, heavy electro and dirty synths, influenced by their early metal background, which they infused into their electronic productions. Hits like "Up the Punx!", “Wrath of God”, “Amazing”, and "I Wish I Had Dog Feet" were standout hits, characterized by a big epic sound that became favorites in DJ sets.
